Is MOTRIN* IB safe?

Many studies have shown that ibuprofen products, like MOTRIN* IB are very safe and effective when taken in appropriate doses. Like most medications, there are certain warnings that need to be considered before you use MOTRIN* IB products. Specifically, you should consult your doctor before using MOTRIN* IB if...

• you have an allergy to Aspirin^® or other products that contain acetylsalicylic acid (ASA) or ibuprofen, other anti-inflammatory drugs
• you have ASA-sensitive asthma
• you are already taking Aspirin^® or ASA-containing medications, other ibuprofen products or any other pain or fever medicine
